Question:

We just put in an inground pool. It is uneven and the water level is off. What can we do?

The bottom of the pool is off, which was not as noticeable without water. Now that the liner and water are in, it really looks bad. How can we either fix the problem or mask the problem so it isn't so obvious? My husband and I are just sick....

  1. Not much other than drain the pool and relevel it. If you were to build a wood deck around it you could let the boards overhang the edge and put a trim board inside . Build the deck level and then it will match the water and you wont see the unlevel top. But releveling the pool is your best bet.

  2. Not sure what you mean by "off", or how it could be so incorrect as to look bad.      But I sympathize with stuff like this, because I'm a bit of a perfectionist too.

If someone else dug and prepared the hole for this, and they are a licensed contractor, and the job is clearly done incorrectly, you can try to get them to fix the problem.   But be prepared to go to court if they don't agree, or if they're not concerned about preserving a good reputation.

Beyond that, maybe just live with it for a season and then drain the pool, remove the liner and adjust whatever is off until it's correct.

Just keep in mind that not everybody who sees the pool is going to notice, and you can always make some excuse for it, like "the ground settled unexpectedly after we levelled the site" or something similar.

Well there is not much you can do you can try to redo it  but i bet it would cost alot. i gues you're sorta stuck.
