We know we'll get no gas tax holiday this summer; did you also know that Congress plans to RAISE the tax?!?

You bet they're talking about it QUIETLY; they know the screaming is going to be loud and furious when their nefarious plan first sees the light of day!

What do you think about our elected betters planning on adding another dime or so to the price of gasoline?

Few of them are even our equals let alone our betters.

Our Congress is constituted of some of the poorest examples of a ruling class which ever existed.

They are, for the most part, losers who could not cut it in the real world so they became politicians.

After seeing the number of job losses the tax holiday would cause and the continuing deterioration of our infrastructure i would say we are in between a rock and a hard place and that would be the most responsible thing to do. So, being a Bush/McCain supporter I would try to spin this politically and blame energy prices on someone else. like we did with ENRON!!!

you say quietly but you know and hopefully by your adamant concern so will many others. the problem is this. too many lazy @ss americans lay around on their couch all day and gripe, whine and complain but never do a d**n thing. believe it  or not, the power is in the hands of the people. i phucking hate libs but one thing that i, i'm swallowing hard, i admire is their tenacity in making their voices heard. now, it's always for the most ridiculous issues like killing babies or changing wood burning fire places to plastic ones but never the less, however wrong they may be and they usually are on the wrong side of most issues they make an effort. call your congressman now and at least six to ten times a day if possible.

Driving on c**p overcrowded roads inadequately funded by gas taxes leads to a far greater tax of car repairs, time stuck in traffic ect.  Simpleton r****d neocons always whine about "tax", NEVER figuring the COST of not taxing!

All reliable accounts show gas taxes should be 40 cents higher a gallon, so this tax is inadequate.

Sorry, if gas prices remain high we must either:

-drive less, or

-pay the price to drive more.

Asking me to sit in traffic so you can fill your $200 a tank tank is not good policy and is absolutely lousy economics.
