Question:

We learn through example. Of all that is written of God, why?

is it that it's faithful, blind themselves to it's bad behaviors, seeing only what they call it's good for mankind. So far all that is written in sacred words in many religions is of an entity that behaves no differently than our species. Isn't this "why" religions have had no affect on violence and murder throughout recorded history of the various civilizations?

Thanks beforehand on your input.

  1. That about sums it up.

People couldn't imagine why it rained unless there was someone like themselves doing it, and the sky-guy grew from there.

  2. Can you show me all the humanitarian efforts by different faiths other than Christianity? It's not what Christians say is good for mankind but what God says is good.

  3. could you possibly rephrase that?

    please?

  4. I have never met a single person who would send their son to die so a bunch of ungrateful, disgusting beings could live and mock him for it. God behaves very differently than our species.

  5. I have to say your question is badly worded, but I'll try to explain to you what I think you're asking.

You are being judgmental, saying God is guilty of "bad behaviors."  You have no idea of the circumstances or history of whatever it is you are citing.  Further, you cannot demand of God to answer you.

God's behavior is not questionable by you or any other human (Job 36:22-23; Jeremiah 18:2-6; Romans 9:20, among many others).
