  1. Assuming you are an American citizen, you don't need a passport when traveling by land or sea (untill June 2009) You need a government issued photo ID like a driver's license and birth certificate. You are required to have a valid passport when traveling by air.

  2. Passports are NOT needed for LAND travel to Canada. You need a photo I.D. and birth certificate for adults and birth certificates for children.  See site below to read current info.

  3. i think you only need a passport if you are flying.

  4. Passports are not yet required if you travel by land.

They ARE required if you fly, however.

Other than that, you will need some form of government issued ID, such as your driver's licence, backed up by your birth certificate. A military ID may or may not be acceptable.

This applies to the parents and adult children only.

For children under a certain age, only the birthcertificate will be sufficient as long as they are traveling with the parents.

  5. oh you are going to love in in b.c.

i lived all around the world and b.c. still has a place in my heart above the rest.

You really need to go to Stanley park, wow, love it. i would rent some bikes and go around the park. visit the pan Pacific hotel and eat in the restaurant out side(sorry the name slip my mind) watch the big boats come in. Then go to north Vancouver to Lynn Vally canyon or capalano bridge. very peace place and after a little hike go to the key to have some food or there is a great sushi restaurant on 2ND street.

    have a great time
