  1. Well I'm a Melbournian so of course I'll say yes!  But it really depends on what your priorities are.  I hear that the wages are much better in Perth but that depends on what your employment is.

Maybe you should take a holiday over here and see if you like it?

  2. im from east coast so i say h**l yes, all the way

  3. Dont leave good ol Perth ):

  4. Why would you want to leave Perth?  It's a beautiful city.  Sydney is way too expensive and everyone is always in a hurry and Melbourne is the pitts.

I grew up in Sydney and wouldn't move back there for the above reasons.  I've lived in other cities and loved them.  Moved to Melbourne several years ago and can't say I love the place.  Nice place for shopping and the arts but forget making friends.  Victorians think they are better than anyone else and don't make you feel welcome or want to get to know you.

If you're over 35 you'll have trouble getting a job.  If you have kids I wouldn't want my kids going to school here either.  Even the teachers can't spell, punctuate or speak English properly.  Someone should tell them there is no such word as youse!

My advice is stay where you are.  You have a much better lifestyle over there.

  5. There are hundreds of factors to take into account.

Weight up the pros and cons and decide yourself. We can't help you - at least not without more info.

  6. One major advantage of living on the east coast is that you're not so geographically isolated as you are in WA. I mean Perth is thousands of kilometres away from the nearest major city. Most of Australia lives on the east coast.

  7. I think it's a great idea, I love the East Coast,

    Good luck.

  8. I'm a Perth girl so Id most probs say stay :) but really depends what you want, a more laid back and better weather lifestyle then stay but if you want more of a busier lifestyle with alot more things to do and see well then move.

  9. Well I'm not sure what Perth is like, but I live in Brisbane, and everything here is so laid back compared to Melbourne, I'm loving it!!
