Hi there

Me and my boyfriend want to get surfing lessons somewhere in the uk. We can't really afford to go to Newquay or Devon quite yet.. and want to go somewhere as close to the Wirral as possible... but is it worth it???

We were looking at Abasoch (spelt wrong??) but I think maybe it may be worth going for it and going to south Wales as the waves may be bigger??

Can anyone recommend any camp sites for tents either?

Many thanks.. please feel free to email me on sltwtmt@hotmail.co.uk if you have advice!!!

Thanks guys x

  1. I live in the far west of Cornwall, But looking on the map. I would not bother with north wales I wold drive down the the Gower.

    1 atlantic swells

    2 lots of sufr schools

3 Not so much chance of being disapointed at arriving to find a flat ocean.

Check out www.magicseaweed.com before you leave.

    Good luck.

  2. your best to look in the local phone book. if its not there ask a local.

  3. its Abersoch, and surfing is good, but not as good as Cornwall/Devon,and a mite unpredictable,so my surfing neighbour tells me....the best place is called h**l`s Mouth..!!!
