  1. I will live for a week or two if it can find water. How do you know in advance that your bird is going to get out on July 9, 08???? Are  you going to turn it lose on that day?

  2. You lost your bird in the future? Wow.

Contact www.911parrotalert.com and post a "LOST BIRD" notice. It's a Yahoo group and it's free.

  3. Many domestic birds who escape, don't go too far from home. Post signs around and place a lost ad in your local paper. Many escaped birds will land in a backyard, tree, etc. of someone and if your bird was friendly... he is probably already found a new home... if he was a parent-raised bird then he probably took up residence somewhere close by I have a few breeder friends who live here in Central Texas and they have birds land and "move in" all the time. My friends in Dripping Springs told me that over 100 of their 5000 parrots just flew in one day from somewhere! So, if you do not find your bird... know that there is a chance that he will be okay especially in southeast Texas where the weather is warm, lots of trees, etc.!
