The head coach of the Bianconeri outfit has been missing from the touchline of Juventus due to his ban, and the players of Juventus have been missing him a lot.
It seems like an eternity since the head coach of the Bianconeri outfit has been found in the dressing room talks or having to the see the enigmatic and energetic figure of Antonio Conte on the sidelines. The touchline ban came into effect after the courts
found the former Bari head coach guilty of the allegations levied against him. Conte was alleged to have failed to inform the regulatory authorities regarding the fixing of matches in the Serie B.
The matches under question were Siena-Novara and the Albinoleffe-Siena match; however, the match between Siena-Novara was rescinded and despite the fact that the allegations were not proved conclusive in the match against Albinoleffe as well, it was stated
that the lack of evidence to prove that he had not taken part in the verdict was what tilted in the allegations turning to a ban.
His initial ban was of 10 months which was cut down to six months and this has meant that the team have been headed by a stand in coach. Amidst various option, with the Italian national team, Cesare Prandelli, being touted as a possible replacement; it was
decided that the staff of Conte would be deployed as the stand in tacticians.
At first, Massimo Carrera was appointed and afterwards, Angelo Alessio deputised for Conte. However, there has been something that has been missing from the fray of the Turin outfit and it has been stated by many players that the hunger of Juventus is not
the same.
Even though Pirlo has not commented on the fact that the team is lacking in drive, but he has remarked that the team has missed Antonio Conte. He was quoted to have said:
“We miss Conte a lot, especially at half-time. He has the right words for everyone, he can change the outcome of a game with his tactical adjustments.”
Conte would be deputising to his full authority in the upcoming fortnight.
