We want to spend between 75 (or less) and 100 Euros. Anyone have any hotels in mind?

  1. The Hilton hotel is the only hotel right next to the airport. Current rate, $188 dollars. However, the express trains connect directly with the airport and downtown Rome. The less expensive option is a hotel in town, and then a quick train ride back to the airport.

  2. I was going to say the hilton at the airport but then I saw your price range. I honestly dont think you will get anyting outside of a hostel for less then 100 Euros in that area.

  3. The hotels near the airport are every expensive. My advice: Get a place in Rome near the termini (main train station). You can get a room for anywhere between 70-90 euro per night and also have the  convenience of staying in the city and being very centrally located. (easy walking to all of Rome's major sites) The cost from the airport to Termini station is 9 euro and a train leaves every 20-30 minutes. It takes 40 minutes between Termini and the airport. It's a very easy trip between the two.

I have stayed at the Hotel Europa twice on the past year, it's about 200 meters from the train station (Termini) and is very nice and convenient. You should be able to find them on the internet. Also, there are about a dozen other hotels in that immediate area which are all similarly priced. Just don't stay across the street from the train station as it is busy and noisy, among other things. The hotels I mentioned are about 2-3 blocks down.

I hope this helps or offers a different point of view for your stay.
