Vincenzo Montella, former head coach of Catania, reiterated that there was a need to reflect on your own performances rather than look at others and react accordingly.
The head coach of Fiorentina has been a revelation at the club following their massive overhaul in the transfer window of 2012. They had gone on to sign around 16 to 18 new faces at the club, while also bringing in a new project led by their new sporting
director and their new head coach, with Daniele Prade and Vincenzo Montella heading the project with their vision and expertise.
The head coach of the Artemio Franchi outfit has gone on to remark on their ambitions during this season and made it clear that Europe was on the mind of the manager, and that he would be looking to target getting into Europe in whichever way they could
make it. He reminded his players that they need to perform in the matches in Coppa Italia if they are to stamp their authority on the Italian front.
While commenting on the mentality they need to adopt, Montella went on to comment that they need to maintain their superiority in the matches, and need to concentrate on what they need to do. He remarked that they would have to keep themselves focussed
on their results, rather than looking at what the other teams do. He also went on to comment:
“We must not look at the results of other teams and I mean that sincerely. If we want to have ambitions, then we need to understand what those are and not hope other sides start hobbling. We have to focus on ourselves. Others are starting to fear us and
see us as a big team. I don’t think Fiorentina have been particularly lucky this season, as we showed great mental strength to fight back. That is a virtue and not a fluke. The higher we go up the standings, the more responsibility there is on our shoulders.”
The Partenopei outfit have gone on to perform to a consistent level and they are not as dependant on the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stevan-Jovetic-c34163 as before.
