Massimiliano Allegri, former head coach of Cagliari, has gone on to remark that the team needs to keep its guard up to perform to the best of the abilities of the team.
AC Milan have had an indifferent start to the season and they have gone on to perform in a manner not reminiscent of the Milanese sides of previous years. They started their season off at the San Siro, and they could not have asked for a worse start than
the one they had, they were playing against the newly promoted Sampdoria, and were odds on favourites to go for the victory; however, it all turned south quickly for the Rossoneri as they had to taste defeat at the San Siro.
They were 1-0 losers on the night to Ciro Ferrara’s team, and it took quite some time for the team to perform to the levels expected of them, and furthermore, there has been immense pressure on the team to get their season back on track. The only thing going
for the Rossoneri outfit has been the fact that they are through to the knockout rounds of the Champions League. Having bid farewell to more than 13 players in the past summer has hit the club’s form pretty hard, and especially the departures of their two
most influential figures of last year, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903, to the French club, Paris Saint-German, has pegged the club by a long margin.
While commenting on their upcoming matches, the head coach of the Rossoneri outfit has remarked that they need to perform well in their upcoming matches and have to give their full attention as the tournaments are coming ever closer.
He also reflected on the matches that they will be playing and the injury concerns ahead of Catania by remarking:
“We now have four big matches coming up in the League, Champions League and Coppa Italia.  http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Abbiati-c9046 has back problems and will only return when he feels better. Philippe Mexes will play though, alongside Mattia De Sciglio and Kevin Constant – I'm
yet to decide who will be the other centre-back.”
The Rossoneri are currently on 18 points from 14 games.
