A relatively small mass (carbon compounds) moved from the surface to the atmosphere of Earth could have some effect. Just assuming that this real phenomenon may not result in changes, is what we used to think when the waste we discharged on bodies of water we wished will be processed automatically until we had to build treatement plants. If we have started aknowledging that our actions have effect over Nature, we should also quantify our envolvement and know the new distribution of loads that we have caused. We live a time where ¨assuming¨ for convenient results is not acceptable because we have created a critical moment when our actions have consequences. Knowing these facts-not assuming for best results- and their consequences is our new obligation.
