  1. no we have blue bags much better

  2. My collection point is the curb at the front of my yard.  If the bin is heavy, I use my dolly.

  3. I am fit and able to carry most weights that occur in my recycle box. If you are weak, aged or infirm then your local authority will collect from where you store the bin. You will need to contact them first for them to do so. The other way is to ask for a new box as the other one has a broken lid then use them both with half the weight in each. Tip one into the other at the end of your garden or where the pick up point is.

    Happy New Year.

  4. Not really.  We have a big green bin on wheels.

  5. I have a council recycle bin. It's the same size as a normal wheely bin with an insert for cans and glass. Paper goes in the main bit. you can get one by going on the council website, ringing them or calling into the town hall. Unfortunately they don't take plastic so we take ours to the plastic recycling site at the tip down Royd Inngs. Or you could keep your box just for the plastic? Hope this helped.

  6. Yeah, it can be a bit awkward, but I consider it a small sacrifice in the grand scheme of things.  At least you are recycling!
