We need transport from preston, lancs to the clothes show in birmingham 7th dec?

we cannot find any companies travelling from preston, can anyone help?

I work for Network Rail. I've used the company computer and have found 1 train direct from Preston to Birmingham. This train runs on 7th December. It's operated by Virgin Trains and leaves Preston at 0829am. Arriving in Birmingham at 1006. If you want to leave later then you will have a few changes / connections to make. Hope this helps :>D

unfrotunatley the winter timetables won't be out till about september usually virgin will run an hourly service to birmingham new street the you would change there and get a service to birmingham international these are quite regualar and central will run additional services for a major event like the clothes show even so the trains are likeley to get packed i should know as i work for central

also good to see some network fail employees, now i know what you do all day lol

As this is at the NEC train would be a good choice to Birmingham International. You could also travel by National Express direct coach service taking 3h 30m.

Around 90 minutes by train to Birmingham, then take it from there.

Possibly nearer the time some local coach companies may offer trips, OR you could always hire a coach yourself and try to fill in with other interested persons.

Hi, i found a coach from Preston to Birmingham coach station, then you could change there and get the coach to the clothes show. It also might be worth contacting you local newspaper to see if they will be having any planned for it. And perhaps a local coach or travel agent might be of help if you want to set up a coach party. Any way have good time

I always use www.thetrainline.com and have looked for your journey. I was told that they do not have information for more than  months ahead. I would suggest, therefore, that you reask your question later in the year and it may be possible for more details to be supplied. I assume the Clothes Show is to be held at the National Exhibition Centre
