  1. Ok,

So assuming that you know your position and that you know that you need to go there at some point during the play this can be kept pretty simple.

The two different situations are when you are serving and when the other team is serving.

WHEN YOUR TEAM IS SERVING you switch to your designated position as soon as the server hits the ball.

WHEN THE OTHER TEAM IS SERVING, you stay in your starting position until your team sends the ball back over the net. When this happens you quickly move to your designated spot.

    To sum this up:

Any time that YOUR team sends the ball over the net is the time in which you should switch from your starting spot to your position that you play.

  2. um ok your question is a lil hard to understand fully but ill try to help.. ohk.. lets say your coach puts you in as an right side starting outside when your team is serving you would switch with the person that is at the spot which would most likely be the outside... when your team is in serve receive you would either be pushed up or pulled off for passing... depends what your team runs.. if you are being pushed up would be the only time that you would be moving during serve receive.

  3. if your team is serving you should be up at the net ready to block if the other team is serving you should be back at about the ten foot line ready to recieve the ball

  4. He is right.. but to help you better understand~ you move on contact of the ball when it is served.  Basically, you will always end up in the same spot the whole time your in the front~ kinda makes it easy (try and do your rotating behind the middle
