  1. Yes   be good neighbours  .. They might thinlkthe fence is theirs anyway.   talk it over together...

  2. You could, but you might end up with a bad neighbor if  you do.

Have you ever spoken to them about the issue before?  Do they know the fence does not belong to them and they should not be putting anything up against it?

I have a neighbor who did something similar before I bought my house.  I was very grateful that they replaced their bad fence before I moved in.  They have never been 'friendly' but have said 'hello' if I said it first.  Well, I never did put anything up against the fence but did have some bushes that grew up over the top.  They sprayed the bushes with killer ... and I got the message.  Last year I had some landscaping done and the workers were piling some left over mulch in a corner of the backyard for me ... that would be faced by my neighbors fence.  The lady who lives there came out and finally said something first  ... she told the workers that she didn't want anything touching her fence, so they'd better keep that mulch on my side of the property line .... 3 or 4 inches beyond her fence.

I didn't mind ... after all, it is her fence.

  3. Yes its part their responsibility..good luck

  4. Yeah, you need to explain to them that this is your fence, that you paid and put it up yourself, and their things are now causing the fence to slant.  Any good neighbour would apologise and move there things to stop wrecking the fence.  The should help you mend it because it was caused by them.  The only thing I can think would cause a problem is if it is technically 'their' fence.  terraced houses only own 2 sides of a fence.  the front and one of the side fences.  which one is yours ?  Not sure if this goes for owned houses, think it does ......
