We suspect our friend may be getting an eating disorder, is there any test we could do?

I know a test won't show for certain, but we don't have a 'sit down and talk about problems' relationship, but if we know something for sure is wrong we will talk to her, but we really arent sure yet

Take her out to dinner a few times and watch her eating pattern, see how much she eats and if she excuses herself to the restroom right after.. I have a very close friend who had anorexia and it nearly destroyed his life, your a good friend for wanting to find out and help..
