“We take pressure as an added responsibility” – http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028
The talismanic India Captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mahendra-Singh-Dhoni-c73820 is confident his side has got the potential to handle pressure of the upcoming World Cup fixtures as well as the expectations of the home crowd very well. The mega cricketing event will
commence from February 19th, 2011 in the Indian subcontinent.
"We take pressure as an added responsibility,” said Dhoni. “We will stick to the basics and prepare well. We have the potential to do well in the tournament. For a change we will not be the underdogs," added the confident Indian skipper.
The flamboyant wicketkeeper batsman from Ranchi, however, declined to predict whether his team will regain the World Cup Champion title after 28 years.
"I never predict what will happen in cricket,” said the 29-year-old cricketer. “We believe in each other and we believe in the process. We will take each game in the right frame of mind," he added further.

Bengali Tigers but Dhoni brushed off any such possibility this time.
"The past is past,” he said adding, “I am more optimistic than you."
Dhoni’s men will face off England in their second group match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore; eight days after they kick-start the World Cup campaign in Dhaka.
Earlier, prolific England batsman, Kevin Pietersen had criticised the World Cup schedule for long breaks between matches saying, "How can the England team play once and then in six days' time… It's ridiculous…"
But Dhoni did not agree with Pietersen and rather looked at the gap as an opportunity to relax and and get over with the niggles.
“I don't know about other sports but we criticise a lot in cricket. When we have tight schedule we say there's too much cricket and when there are gaps we say there's too little. It's difficult to prepare a perfect schedule," said the Ranchi
boy. "We would utilise these breaks to relax and get over whatever niggles we have," he added.
Dhoni backed the 15-man World Cup squad and said that the selected players would have an impact on the esteemed event, once it gets underway in the next couple of days.
