  1. Once only . . . and the person was a professional singer.

If not professionals, I advise against this.  If you are professionals, then go for it.  But if not professionals, you may be extremely nervous or overcome with emotion on the wedding day.

  2. there is an episode of full house where jesse sang to becky the song forever by the eagles. it made the show worth while.

  3. I think Katherine McPhee sang to her hubby at her wedding....

I'm sure it would be lovely, as long as niether of you is tone-deaf.... That would just be hillarious.... and maybe even painful!

  4. Sounds like a great idea- make sure you really can carry a tune, or it would be embarrassing.

  5. Not unless they were professional singers.  My daughter's choir director sang to his wife on their wedding day--but he's been in an award winning classical ensemble.  He's not a casual singer who sings with the radio in the car and in the shower.

If you guys don't want to sing to each other, then don't.  Even professionals don't do it most of the time, because it's an emotional day, and you'd be singing a song that would make it even more emotional--it's VERY hard to sing when your emotions are churning.
