The Juventus Director General went on to state that the club would not blindly dish out the cash for a striker as they are looking to add a top quality forward.
Beppe Marotta went on record to state that the Turin based outfit would be looking to sign a top class attacker for the 2012-13 season. The reason for the active pursuit of a striker comes about after Juventus suffered a slight hiccup on the road to lifting
the Scudetto.

The Turin outfit have also shown an interest in the Dutchman, Robin Van Persie, and reportedly offered around 20 million Euros for the services of the Arsenal striker; however the Gunners are not keen to part ways with their player.
When Marotta was quizzed on the kind of striker the Turin giants are currently looking for, the Director General went on to state that they were not just looking for a big name. He remarked that they would only look for players who would improve the quality
of the team as a whole.
