No adoption should be a speedy process. Trying to go the fast way could only hurt you in the end.  I realize you want a child and that’s understandable but please remember adoption is about giving a child/baby a home that truly needs it. It should not be about filling Potential adoptive parents need to have a baby. You should want to do it right and that is not going to be a fast process.

It would also be wise to read some books on adoption and hear the good and bad feelings about adoption and experiences  from adoptees. This way you will be able to help your adopted child no matter what.

The majority of information I found was in regards to people from the states adopting from India. However if you browse some sites you might be able to find something that would be helpfully to you, a number you could call or email address that could stir you in the right direction. See some of the criteria   it might be slightly diffrent since your from that country wanting to adopt from there but some things are probalby going to be the same like age requirement.

My suggestion is to contact Mother Theresa foundation.  While they try to help mothers keep their children, they also find homes for unwanted children.

It's unlikely that the process will be speedy.  Start by looking at your local directory/phone book under "Adoption Agencies" and start making calls.  By being truly prepared to take on parenthood both financially and emotionally, that may help things go smoothly, but don't expect a 6 month process.  It may take years, but if you are willing to adopt older children, girls, and/or children with special needs, you may get a placement more quickly.

Why not adopt from the area you are in?  Why does everyone want children from a foreign country?  There are just as many babies in your surrounding area who need love.
