Indianapolis is a beautiful city and full of places to visit.   Our main library just opened after a two-year renovation.  It is a building worth seeing.

The Eiteljorg Museum has galleries of Native American arts and crafts.

The Children's Museum is the largest in the world and even if you have no children it is still worth a trip.

Take a tour of the track.  Of course, they are still removing trash but it looked pretty clean Monday.  (I live on the west side.)

Go downtown at noon and walk around Monument Circle.  Sit and enjoy the people watching.  Then wander over to Border's and then further down Meridian to Circle Center Mall.  On the next corner is the Olde Spaghetti Factory.  Meals are reasonably priced.  The ambiance is great.  Try the mizithra and browned butter linguine.  It's to die for.

I will be honest and say that if all you are looking for is hot night life, drinking, and gambling...we don't have a lot of that.

There are some pretty cool clubs for different age ranges downtown, all pretty much with a $5 covercharge. There is an IMAX theatre downtown and a large, 4 story circle center mall. There is also a comedy club in Broad Ripple and Downtown called Crackers. I think it is $10 to get in each, and a minimum of 2 drinks per person.You could also walk around the circle or the canal, both of which downtown. The canal however, is by the IMAX theatre.

well you can go to movies, walk around the canal or downtown, circle center mall is nice, walk the monon trail, check out broad ripple nightlife and bars/grills. Really there is nothing that exciting in indy sorry.....
