Question:

We want to go skiing?

I've done a little searching on the net, but feel over whelmed by the choice. We want to go in the beginning of March to somwhere with a good chance of great snow, without paying loads of money, suitable for beginners, but with a good choice of runs for returners! can anyone reccommend a resort to check out, or a good website to help us find a resort that suits us?

Thank you!

  1. Every year me an my friends go to Smuggs Notch in Vermont. It has amazing skiing that time of year. Some years you'll even have 3' of snow come down over night. They are good cause they have runs beginning from non skier, all the way to expert, with three different mountains to chose from!

  2. Breckenridge, CO is my personal favorite.  I've been skiing there since I was 3.  Great town, great slopes and great people.  I think they have a website that's gobreck.com???  have fun!

  3. check out first choice snow/ski holidays. Good prices.

  4. Avoriaz. Great for families and beginners.

Val Thorens. My personal favourite. High (so almost guaranteed snow) with great skiing.

The cheapest way of skiing is book at short notice near the end of season. Check out the resorts now, but don't book yet.
