  1. I think Salou would be a good option. On its own merits, Salou has become one of the main tourist centres on the Costa Daurada. Along its extensive coast, protected by Cape Salou, beautiful beaches and coves with fine sand give way to one another, enjoying an exceptional climate and offering infinite possibilities for enjoying the sea and for all kinds of water sports.

  2. We took the train from Barcelona to Valencia. It was one of the most beautiful train rides I had ever been on. You can see the sea and it is beautiful. The one town we passed that I recall because it just looked so cute was Tarragona. I would love to go back one day as it looked like a nice seaside town. There was a lot of white buildings.

  3. tarragona on the cataluña express from sants cost 10 euros  50 cents return is a journey along the coast of about an hour and a half.

  4. MONTSERRAT. This monatery is perched on a cliff and houses the Black Virgin, venerated by thousands of pilgrims. The children's choir sings dayly at 1:00 and at 7:10. You can take a FGC train from Metro Espanya every hour from 8:36 am. You'll get off the FGC train at Aeri de Montserrat where you'll catch the cable car up to the top of the mountain. The ticket, that includes the metro to Plaça Espanya, the FGC train and the cable car cost 18,63 euros and you can buy it at the FGC shop in the "El Triangle" shopping center in Plaça Catalunya.

GIRONA is a beautiful city with an interesting medieval Jewish quarter. Near is Figueras, where is the Dali Museum. You can take a RENFE train from Sants Station.

SITGES is a colourful and g*y beach town. You can take a train from Sants Station or Passeig de Gracia.

  5. SITGES!

If you arrive by train or you are in Barcelona city and you would like to go to Sitges by public transportation, the best option is to go to Barcelona Sants train statation and take the train line C2. There are trains every 25 minutes from 5:40am until 12:00pm. The journey time is about 30 minutes and the ticket costs 2,30 euros. You can access to Barcelona-Sitges train timetables  (selecting BARCELONA SANTS (Barcelona Sants Station) as "Origen" (Origin) and SITGES as "Destino" (Destination) and clicking in "Horario" (Timetable)).
