  1. I've heard that the trip from ? to Belfast is cheapest. I mean, belfast is only over an hour to dublin. Maybe the Scottish port is too far from your end, but it's cheapest. Fuel might make it the same price. Your quote sounds great though. I think you should stick with that. Get into Dun Laoghaire though, if you can (pronounced 'done leary') makes the whole start to a holiday easier I think. Google your maps to get from the port to the motorway (N11) but once you get there you're off and away.

  2. We have a class of a boat. It's a blow-up dinghy. We'll gladly take your camper van across to Ireland.

  3. £240 is very cheap, I don't think you could get much cheaper.

  4. Why google the ferry websites and see if you can book online? Remember that if you were flying, you would spend about that much for the two or you, there and back, and you wouldn't have the convenience of your own car.

  5. It's expensive as the camper takes up more room than a car.  You wont get any concession for being disabled - possibly for pensioners though.  It may be cheaper to book online, but I'd phone up the shipping company to ask advice.  Hope you have a lovely holiday and that the weather is better that we had at the weekend !
