We were vandalized and had gas poured into our lawn. The grass turned black. How do you repair this?

What morons!  With today's high prices on gasoline they dumped it in your lawn?!?!  Depending on how much was spilled in your lawn you may have to contact the town's HAZMAT officials, or call your local health department for answers.

If its just an irregular spot you can wait till fall and reseed. If it shows or happens to spell a dirty word you can rent a sod cutter to remove the damage and replace it with new sod.  RScott

You have to have the dirt removed as it is now contaminated.  Once the dirt is removed replace it with good topsoil and replant the grass seed.
