We will be arriving in Huatulco on a Princess Cruise and want to go to a beach. Any suggestions?

There are 6 of us in the group, including 3 1/2 year old twins and 80 year old grandparents. Are there public beaches or is there a way to use hotel beaches (example: have lunch there)? How do we get from the cruise ship to the beach?

public beach is next to the cruise ship dock. hotel beaches would be a cab ride away. the national park has the best beach wild remote beautiful.
