"We are completely focused on the game with Pacos de Ferreira, We are not thinking about who is next, or about the game with APOEL. Pacos Ferreira will be tricky to beat and we have to be at our best to gain a result,” he said.
The trainer also said that their Liga Sagres opponents were quite an organized side and have been consistently performing. However given the quality of the players at the club, he expected them to emerge with a win at home.
"I have monitored Pacos de Ferreira more than once. They are a well-organized opponent, who have won with consistency and team spirit in their last fixtures. We expect difficulties but we are prepared to overcome them,” Vitor Pereira was quoted as saying.
Although they have not been playing in the most convincing of fashions, FC Porto’s recent results suggest that the side could be back to their best and now boast the confidence to take on anyone.
However in order to prove their mettle, they will have ease past Pacos de Ferreira, which will not be an easy task despite the Dragons being the home team for this one.
