We will be moving to Perth, WA end of this month. What is the suburb Wellard like? Any good schools there?

It's a new suburb in the South. Anybody living there now who can provide some advice? Safe and family-friendly suburb?

Its still very much a 'work in progress', but there are a variety of schools, including a couple of private ones nearby that have been built recently.

It does have some fairly rough areas nearby, so time will tell as to how 'safe' it will be.
