We will be spending 3-4 days in Rome . Does anyone have any info on convent stays? with baths/near sites?

We will be staying 4/30/07 until 5/03/07 over the 5/1 holiday. We are 4 older adults. It will be the first trip to Rome for one couple.

Hi,,,, please watch out for the pick pockets... they are awful in Rome... I have always been lucky,,, but other friends have not been.......

We stayed at Hotel Laura in Bologna, Rome.  If you are planning to take the subway, that is a good place as it is just outside the subway going to and from the famous places in Rome.  There is traffic outside but not the same as being in mainstream Rome where thousands of tourists are, and you find no peace.  We were there around the same time as you are planning to go and the weather was great!  Not rainy at all.
