We will be taking a Western Mediterranean cruise with our grandchildren 5 & 8. What excursions should we take?

If you will take a cruise of the Greek islands, then the best excursions are: the Palace of Knossos in Crete island, the Monastery of St John in Patmos, and also ancient Ephessos in Kusadasi!

Some excursions have an age restriction so check that out. We took the kids on a glass bottom boat and snorkeling. They cant wait to go back. Have fun and make sure you utilize the ships children's programs. My kids didn't do everything they had scheduled but they did have fun with some of the activities , like a damce party and a star gazing night

Something that they could handle something wiht not a lot of walking because you migth be pushing them in a cart or carrying all of their stuff so I would have it last not longer then maybe 3 or 4 hours and I would say that they might not remember this as their older so take lots and lots of pictures, and bring snacks and drinks because they will get bored very easily.
