We will be travelling to tirupati next week taking a train of 2.00 pmfrom cst, what is the duration of travel.

what are the precautions while travelling to tirupati and what are the useful things we need to carry there and while travelling. please help. we have a 3 year old kid and also my parents.

as you say the train timing is 2.00 p.m. then you are catching chennai express from cst and this train will reach renigunta jn at 1.30 p.m. this train take 23.30 hours to reach renigunta jn. and this train does not go to tirupai railway station as you have to get down at renigunta jn, which is 10 k.m from tirupati.

you have not mention whether you have booked tirupati darshan ticket in advance or not. as winter is there and you have a 3 year kid and parents with you please make arrangemnet for woolen cloths and shwalls. and also have a flask, torch. any more detail if you want mail me .

duration is abt 30 hrs.  Take enough money with you, will get everything you need. and your child's care you know better
