Alvaro Pereira’s agent, Alejandro Savich, has commented on Chelsea’s interest in his client. with his response.
Estadio do Dragao favourite, Alvaro Pereira, was reported to be on his way to greener pastures during the summer transfer window. The Uruguayan International was on the radar of the European giants, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain and move was highly expected
to materialize.
The Parisians, funded by their new billionaire owners, launched an audacious bid to acquire the wingback’s services and given their financial muscle, a transfer was thought to be on the cards.

Speaking to reporters, the representative said that he was aware of Villas-Boas’ interest in his former protégé but he was not going to shed any light on the matter. He also added that his client has recently penned at new deal with the Portistas but could
be open to a move if someone was willing to match the buyout clause.
"I have read the news about Chelsea's interest, but I am not going to say anything about it at the moment. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-Pereira-c5297 recently renewed his contract until 2016, so he has a contract with Porto, but there is a release clause,” he said.
Lastly he said that in order to see any new developments in the situation, they would have to wait for some time.
"We are going to have to wait a little bit, we will see what could happen in the future,” Alejandro Savich was quoted as saying.
