In an interview by Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti shed some light on the summer transfer window and also spoke about the chances of signing Kaka from Real Madrid
Carlo Ancelotti is what one might call a good customer for journalists. The Italian has quickly adapted to life in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and is enjoying every moment spent in Paris. The former AC Milan manager has rarely had a bad interview which goes on to show how well
he has carried himself.
While talking to Le Parisien, the PSG coach spoke about his side’s chances of lifting their first Championelle in ages and also spoke about his expectations and targets for the summer transfer window.
The Italian says that he has a strong belief that Paris will win the league because players are aware of the importance of the title.
Qatari owners are yet again looking to have as many stars at the Parc as possible but Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that the club might not spend a plethora of money on new recruits.
Ancelotti said that the club will sign just one striker and said that they don’t need two strikers as they have young academy player Bahebeck who he feels has a long way to go.
“We will need one striker. Two, I do not know. Because we have a very good youngster here: Bahebeck. And we want to give him more playing time.”
If the young striker can have a smile, we must not forget that PSG’s priority remains in signing stars. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 international Kaka might not be one of those stars. The Real Madrid man has been constantly linked with a reunion with Ancelotti but the
Italian coach has put a future transfer in doubt.
“I do not think he (Kaka) will come this summer as Real will not want to let him go. I want him to come, but it depends on the position of the Spanish club. If Real Madrid let him go, we will open our door.”
Kaka has already said that he wants to prove himself at the La Liga side before moving on so it’s safe to say that the former AC Milan star might never wear the Red and Blue jersey.
