It was one of those times when the numbers did tell the story. With nine minutes left in the second period Thursday night, Phil Kessel had six shots on goal while his Toronto Maple Leafs teammates had combined for five. With 2:30 left in the period, Kessel was one of only five Maple Leafs with a shot, compared with 12 Boston Bruins. Among the Toronto players without an attempt against Tim Thomas were second-line forwards Mikhail Grabovski and Clarke MacArthur, who stood second on the Leafs with six goals in eight games entering the game. After seeing this result what do you say about the news, Weakened Leafs can't finish against Thomas.
