Nothing like a little distraction eh ?

were it not for this utterly ridiculous choice, we'd all still be talking about the convention and Obama's land Mark Speech and viewership...

But Palin...is such a bad choice that now both sides are beside themselves with it, ..WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BET...SHE BOWS OUT ? And this all... was just fodder for the circus ?

  1. No way she bows out.  And a selection of VP is not a distraction unless you want to make it one...it's a serious choice for the country, acknowledging that under certain circumstances that person could run the USA.  It's too bad neither party can look with disinterest at the other, hoping to unify the country.  Partisan politics are here to stay.  For every comment like yours, I bet we'll see the other side just as strong.

  2. HA!  Senator McCain totally stole the thunder of the DNC by choosing a governor with more executive experience that either Democrat who has negotiated with more foreign Governments than the top of the Democrat ticket.

Senator McCain has outhought, outmaneuvered, and outflanked the Democrats.  The man made a brilliant choice.

  3. You wish.  Palin is a great choice.  Worried are ya?

  4. Dude...historically speaking....the convention had some of the lowest ratings in history...nobody but die-hard dems even cared or cares.

  5. Sorry to rain on the parade but Palin is a great choice.  She's an outsider, she's courageous, she's a modern day Harry Truman, hers is a Union family, she knows about the environment, she's savvy about recovering oil and gas, she's a mom, it's a blue collar family, she's rooted out corruption and gone against incumbents from her own party, she's turned down pork barrel spending sent to her state from Washington (the bridge to nowhere), and she's had more executive experience than anyone on either ticket.  It's nice Mr Obama has millions cheering for him, but it more important to have leaders that get things done.

  6. NO.. Just a brilliant pivk..

McCain trumped the DNC circus sideshow in the news.. Obama should have carried the news cycle till Sunday.... Not a word yesterday!

McCain Ko'ed the Liberal MSM and the Democratic party in one punch..

The left ran around like roaches on fire yesterday... sticking their foot in their mouths.. It was fantastic!

  7. 38 million..sorry my friend Bush got 53 million votes in 2004..Obama is going to be a little to short..Palin is the new hope of the GOP..party unity is going strong just read the GOPers on this..they love her and who wouldn't ..she is the mother that America needs to fix our broken souls..Micky Obama is not the mother of America..she is the ugly aunt married to the crazy guy..who hangs with racist and terrorist..sorry charlie..GOP in 2008!!!...McCain is the next president and Palin is going to be the first woman president..and vice president..should have chose Hillary..fools...

  8. I agree except for one part...

I think the distraction was supposed to be from the fact that McCain started the Georgian war...

  9. Brilliant to distract attention from Obama and that Georgian war.

However she's far flung right wing. She's against choice under ANY circumstances including rape and incest. She wants creationism taught in schools. Sorry - I don't want to live in a church state if McCain kicks off.  It's very scary to think about her as president.
