Wear braces or not??

next year i'll turn into 14. i plan to wear braces but i kind of blank! is it okay b'coz i will change to another school next year.. i should wear it when i under 10. will the braces make me weird in front of the new school and friends?

braces are important think why live your life with ugly teeth trust me when those braces come off your teeth will dazzle trust mt get some neon colored ones or something so tour teeth will look good with the braces

it doesnt matter wat other ppl think,if u need braces,wear them,dont ware them for the wrong reasons!i bet ull look pretty every wit braces most ppl do!

Around your age, do you know how many people have braces? A LOT! Don't worry, they won't make you seem weird.

I had braces from I was 12 or 13 until I was 15 or 16. After I had them removed my teeth moved back (yes it's possible,  wear your retainer once you have your braces taken off and it won't happen - I was stupid and lazy, don't follow my example). ANYWAY, my stupidity resulted in me getting braces again, when I was 17 (as far as I remember) think I wore them for about a year.

Point of my story being: when I first got braces I attended one school. When I was 14 (I think) I changed schools. New school old braces. When I got braces the second time around I was in HIGH SCHOOL. There were one or two kids apart from me who had braces. Nobody cared.

Don't sweat it. In about a year or two you'll have perfect teeth. It's -so- worth it!

Feel privileged that your folks can afford them and be proud. So many can't even afford a dentist.

I dont understand what the problem is, do u live for urself or for other ppl?? If u live for urself then go ahead get the braces they r worth it in the end, but if u live to plz other ppl i have news for u, u will ALWAYS have ppl not like u, whether its clothes or w,e else it is, somoene will always not like u, SO i much rather have braces && c who my real friends, r, PPL WHO WILL ACCEPT U FOR U, then try to plz ppl, yes I understand u wanna fit in, everyone does, but to what extent?. the earlier u get braces the better it is 4 u, There widely accepted even adults do them now, They have ALL sorts of colors, they can b fun! I LOVE MINE, So I suggest LIVE for YOURSELF, not for ppl to accept u, the ppl who matter won't MIND, && the ppl who do mind, DUN matter. LOVE && RESPECT urself && others will do the same! =) Good Luck

No way, it won't make you wierd.  But do you want to be an adult with ugly teeth or gaps......that would be bad.

Embrace your braces.....lol....in other words make the best of it.  Have them match the rubberbands to the color of the clothes you are going to be wearing the most.  

Trust me the important thing is to have healthy great looking teeth when you grow up.  I know some kids get them at a younger age.  However studies have been showing that when they place them before 14 they end up wearing them for a much longer time.  My daughter got them at 14 and she has really great cool friends...so don't think it will impact your social life...it won't.

It doesn't matter if you need them get them its your dentist and your desicision.Braces are actually knda fashionable

Just remember that you won't be the first one with braces and not the last.  

It will be so worth it in the future with your beautiful straight teeth.

The worst part is having to give up certain foods while you have them! :D

If you need braces to correct a faulty bite the have it done and don't feel weird- loads of people have braces.

If you are only having it done for cosmetic reasons then don't bother, you will do more damage to your teeth than anything else!
