Wear can i find synthetic leather half chaps?

Question

i am a vegetarian, and refuse to wear leather. ( i know not a great sport for that...) but i dont really need the tall boots yet, just look alikes. And the only half chaps that would be ok are made of leather :(. can anyone tell me a good place to find synthetic? Thanks! :)

well...

if you're trying to do hunters, i don't think they will let you use synthetic =/

but if its just for riding, then you can try asking around some local tack shops. they may have some suggestions, or even have some! even if you do have to order them.

You should buy the leather, because it's already made and it has better quality. You don't want to have to pay double the price, because your product was made poorly. Being a vegetarian does not mean you can't wear leather, it just means you don't eat animals!

umm there should be synthetic half chaps at ur local tack shop. Thats where I found mine.

You could try equileather chaps, which are very smart and acceptable as gaiters / chaps for showing, this is the same material that makes Wintec synthetic saddles.

I wear equileather boots for cross country as then it doesn't matter if they get a bit destroyed, but they are smart enough and look expensive like leather for showing etc.
