High school starts tomrorow for me (im almost 15) and have been wearing my hair up every day the same way for about 2 years now. I just got so sick of it because its frizzy and really thick. Its a wavyish blonde and hair dressers always tell me "people pay lots of money to have your color hair." I guess I have natural highlights. Hmmm.its about shoulder length maybe slightly longer. I want to start wearing it down but it feels really wierd and annoying. Plus, I dont want to make the change so dramatic so that people from school take notice.

  1. i have the same hair as you..... except its brown everyone tells me they would die for my hair but i don't think so, its so hard to manage and not many hairdo's suit its style........ i would recommend wearing it in: a half up half down thingy , a messy bun( start doing A ponytail and when you get to the last twist only pull your hair half through) or a braid

  2. Hey,

My Hair's Frizzy And Thick But I Just Straighten And Curl It And Change It Too My Mood (:

Get Some Sprays And Serums, They Work For Me :D.

    Hope This Helps.

    Good Luck `ox

  3. You could do a half and half, where you pull the top back with a barrette, and you leave some of it down on your shoulders. Leave a few strips of hair out, to frame your face. Unless you think it looks better all pulled back.

  4. You're starting high school. Why not make waves? I would seriously consider going to your stylist and telling them to give you a cut that will make you look your best. Ask for something easy to manage and something that will flatter your face when it's left down. If you want, ask them to cut your bangs in a way that will flatter your face when your hair is pulled up.

Take a new step and do something different. Something dramatic that will make people take notice can only turn out to be a good thing.

  5. people like change

so i say go for it

you may even wanna try straightening it

  6. haha i hear ya ppl say the same about my hair color (blonde) they ask if I get it done and i tell'em no. So I guess its a compliment? Anyhoo here are some different ideas

Straightening it will definately help make a 'good change' it won't be 'dramatic' but i believe it'll be definately noticeable

Try doing milkmaid braids on your hair. I found a good YouTube video thats good for long/medium/short hair. here is what one looks like then the link below it is the tutorial

There is also the half up half down approach with your hair. Try putting it half way up then curling the bottom of it or having it all straightened.
