Wear indicators on sportbike tires...?

the colored stripes are starting to show on the front tire of my Ninja 250...I want to go riding this weekend...is it still good for a couple hundred miles? Looks like there's still a decent amount of tread and I don't figure on going on any wet roads. Or should I not ride?

If it's just starting to show, you've still got quite a bit of tread left.  Just don't overwork the tire.  Basic riding is fine, but don't overpush it or go speeding super fast, as that's dangerous with low tread.

You know why they call them " Wear indicators " ???

Get a new tyre PLEASE.

The last thing you want is to crash and do you and your bike a ton of damage, for what ? $80.

Its just not worth it.

I would take it out for a ride if there is still tread showing
