Question:

Wearing contact lenses to Wild Rivers?

Would it be unwise to wear contacts to Wild Rivers? (the water park in Irvine)

Glasses are a big no-no to water-related things and rides for me..

Goggles would help, I know, but no one wears them there and I hate goggles.

Would sunglasses help?

Thanks in advance!

  1. I wear my contacts whenever I go to a water park. I'm simply too nearsighted to go without. I wear "dailies" so if I were to lose one (I haven't yet) it's not a big deal.  Another good thing about wearing dailies is if you get splashed in the eyes at all you don't have to worry about picking up any infectious ickies.

If you are concerned about contacts, I think you might be able to wear glasses. At least I have seen people wear them at the water park near me. Get a pair of Croakies to keep them from flying away.

Take a pair of sunglasses -- I wouldn't be able to survive without them.
