Wearing emotions on ur sleeves? what does it mean? plz help me!!!!!?

okay. i heard people saying that they wear there emotions on their sleeves!!!!! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN! plz ! i've heard it alot but i cant figure it out!!!!!!!!!!! help. answer plz

It means their emotions are out in the open,that they choose to release their feelings through sharing with others.It's like wearing an outfit.You can see it on the person.So their outwood display of feelings is worn on their sleeve.

it means that you can tell how the person who wears his/her emotions on their sleeve is feeling.  they don't do a good job of hiding how they feel.  so people like this couldn't just act "normal" if they got sad news.  they'd looked lost and confused.
