  1. he means if you don't wear them all the time it can make your eyes worse..which is the case but sometimes even if you wear the glasses all the time your eye prescription can get slightly bad. [ happened to me] but you can wear them full time if you want but your eyes will get weak without the glasses. but i personally would wear them full time if i couldn't see.

  2. Your eyes will grow and change on their own regardless of whether or not you wear your glasses.  So if you don't wear them full-time, your prescription will only increase if it was going to anyways.  If your prescription is pretty high, then you probably should wear them all the time, just so you can see clearly.  You will not damage your eyes by wearing or not wearing your glasses, so just wear them when they help you see more clearly.

  3. Here is the deal. Your eyes are going to change no matter what you do. every ones do. Wearing or not wearing your glasses can have an effect, but it is not such a big effect as your heredity. If your doctor says to wear them full time, do that. Your doctor has a  DOCTORATE in the education of how this works! Do what they tell you to do. I, personally, like to see well so I wear my glasses or my contacts. Not wearing them is silly to me. If you call your doctor and ask this very same question I bet he says the same thing I do.

  4. don't wear them full time, you need to keep your eyes strengthened by letting them work on their own for a little while. If you wear them full time your prescription will go up. Your optometrist wants to weaken your eyes so you'll be back for a stronger prescription. Only wear them when you need them.

  5. what your dad means is that if you don't wear your glasses all the time, your eyesight will get worse, and you'll need a stronger prescription.
