Wearing underwear underneath swimming trunks?

Question

I am going swimming and i have this swimming trunks it isn't the tight kind but the one that is like a short but is a swimming trunks. Anyways i was wondering if u should either wear underwear underneath them.And if i have to, should i wear boxers or brief? The brand of my trunks is Sunny's boys tropical swimming trunks. Please don't give me websites to see. just give me advices from your personal experience or what you think.And again it is the one that looks like a short not a tight one. Thanks alot!

My husbands swim shorts have a nylon net in them to hold him in place.  I assumed that all men's bathing shorts had those......yours don't?  If they don't then I would suggest that you wear a pair of briefs or go get a athletic supporter.

You don't need to wear underwear under any of swimwear. If they are the kind that has a lining and you want to wear underwear, wear briefs. Boxers will get bunched up. If they are board shorts, no lining, you can wear boxers or briefs.

Don't wear any underwear under your swim trunks. Either the mesh netting will take care of you, or wear a Speedo brief if you think this is life or death situation that is absolutely unavoidable.

If they are made for swimming, you don't need anything underneath. If you feel a need to wear something else, get a speedo brief, do not wear underwear unless you want to be uncomfortable for a while as the cotton will take a long time to dry, whereas a speedo will dry pretty quickly.

Swimming trunks generally have some kind of built in underwear that should be sufficient. It's designed so that they will dry easier. If you wear regular underwear under your swimming trunks they take forever to dry and are wet and clammy and make it more likely to get rashes down there.

While lifeguarding I have noticed that most guys wear briefs under these kind of suits.
