  1. okay i live in Dublin and my advice is to bring absouletly ALL your clothes because it could be lashing rain, extremely sunny, snowing, windy? and all other  types of weather possible! em it would probably be between about 6 degrees and 28? hope this helps!

  2. Normally I find around April it gets really feckin hot for a few weeks then it decides to p**s rain for a few weeks, so I would say if its hot it would be tshirt weather, maybe light jacket weather 4 u, but it it lashes u wud need a coat + rain jacket + the like, you wont freeze your *** off tho, so dont be coming in arctic clothing or nuttin!

  3. the weather in ireland is generally this -

    rain

    rain

    rain

    rain

    rain

    wind

    rain

    rain

etc, its cold also, aroung 10 degrees c

  4. Wet and windy, bring layers (including waterproofs) and leave the shorts and sandals at home. Temperatures are unlikely to be warmer than 10 degrees Celsius. Once you're here, get yourself a wool hat and scarf - hardly the epitome of style I know but what's the point of risking pneumonia for the sake of looking good.

  5. bring a kite with you lol

  6. You'll be freezing - especially coming from such a hot climate. We had family over from Brazil recently and they were wearing gloves and scarves inside the house ! They couldn't get over the cold. The weather is pretty c**p now, really windy and cold, but you'll be grand. Top temperatures in April would be about 10 degress. Tho you never can tell coz we had snow last wk!

Good luck and have a great trip whatever the weather x

  7. Sorry this is not what you want to hear but I'd say top temeperature would be about 12 degrees Celsius with lots of wind and rain.

  8. u dunno maybe the best think is to get hot clothes go on http://msn.ie

  9. Nobody mentioned the rain.  It rains most of the time in April.  That with the cold between 3C and 10 C (37F and 50F) and wind you need to take warm clothes and a good rain protection.  Not to forget good shoes.

The rain is not as fierce as in Florida but it lasts for much longer and there is rarely a sunny interlude on a rainy day.  That said there are some sunny days when the temperature can be at or over 10C.

Nevertheless, you should have a good time as lots of entertainment is indoors.

Try to see the 5000 year old burial chambers at Newgrange just north of Dublin in the Boyne Valley - these are world famous in academic circles but not much advertised for tourists.

    Have a great holiday.

  10. So the weather will be shocking, I think you've gathered that at this stage!

Luckily for you, you won't notice the weather as you'll be so enthralled by the beauty of Ireland.  Now be prepared, it's alot different than Florida, in fact, complete opposite, just be open minded, go with the flow and you'll really enjoy yourself.

Never mind the weather, you'll probably be indoors most of the time anyway.

Think of the weather as the perfect excuse to take shelter in the local pub (legal drinking age here 18 mind) Why not try a pint of Guinness while yer here...'tis great stuff, it'll put hairs on yer chest!!

Seriously tho, hope you have a great time, Ireland is a wonderful place.  I've lived here all my life, I've done alot of travelling but there's no place like home.  Enjoy the break and don't mind the weather!

    Slainte.

  11. You being from Florida ireland will definatley be cold. weather in Ireland is extremely unpredictable temperatures would vary anywhere from 10 - 17 degrees Celsus . I would definately bring a rain jacket umbrella and a warm jumper just to be prepared. At the moment the weather is very stormy and very cold.

  12. W W W

    Wet Windy Weather.

  13. yep, you'll be freezing

  14. You will probably be freezing hun as it is bloody cold most of the time in Ireland

take wooly jumpers and thermal socks as we are used to it but with you being from sunny florida u blood will be thinner n used to warmer climates

    x

  15. The irish metrological service will give you all the information you should need on irelands climate. www.met.ie

also a good tip is to try the national broadcasters website www.rte.ie look under news and weather a few days before you leave and you will get a forecast for the week to come that way you can pack accordingly

  16. Windy, possibly rainy (kind of unpredictable, if it's sunny bring your umbrella!), about 10-15 degrees Celsius. But the truth is that you never know - last April was really dry with temperature around 23 degrees Celsius. So I suggest you pack both warm and light clothes, and bring shoes that you would wear if it's raining (rain will be cold). Hope it helps, and have a good time.

  17. i,d say we;ll be lucky if we get 9-10 degrees. you wont be needin shorts or t-shirts anyway. enjoy.

  18. really really windy , temperatures are about . lows of 3 degrees c at the moment
