HI koobreez:thank you for the helpful info. I checked all the connections that's in one corner of the fan but did not find any loose connections. However, I did find a large amount of spider webs crossing the red and black terminals. I wondered if that's what caused the short. I cleaned it up and put the panel back. Now I just need to go get some new fuses. You mentioned the slow-blown timed delayed fuses. how is this different from the one-time fuse? thanks,Kenny, Los Angeles, CA
