Weather in Florida in September?

Im thinking about going to florida during September to visit an old friend. Will it still be warm in September? like beach weather warm? i dont really want to go if its gunna be cold. What are the best months to come to florida? when is it the warmest?

The weather in September is great. Keep in mind hurricanes,fires, and tornado's. Check with National Security before you go down.

The weather should be great, unless there is a hurricane, but I wouldn't let that stop me.

I live in central Florida on the East Coast. But no matter where you are in Florida, it'll be PLENTY hot for you in September.

Tourist Season in Florida is normally year round, peaking during the time period of Memorial Day through Labor Day. Afterwards, is when the "snowbirds" come in.

The hottest months are definitely June-September. It will start getting cool towards the end of October/beginning of November, but it's still beach weather. I remember spending a Christmas going to the beach! But during the months of January through March, the weather can get a little too cold for the beach. But there are people from up north that LOVE IT regardless.

I live in northwest Florida and September is great beach weather! July and August are our hottest months with lows in the low to mid 90's on the coast and mid to upper 90's inland.

It should be beautiful. It can be quite humid still. I think it's still beach weather warm but I do live in New England. I grew up here. I have a friend that moved to Daytona Beach a few years ago. I spent 5 years living in Charlotte, NC. I went to college down in Alabama. It is still hot in September. I'm used to going down to Florida in late August. It's quite hot and that's what I like. It's a little cooler in September but still very warm.

That is about the peak season for Hurricanes but we have been and I hope we stay quiet in that regard.   Temperatures will still be reaching the low 90's and upper 80s and some overnight lows in the mid 70s.
