  1. yea, b4 i went from dere and it was quite bad weather but dey can sail.

  2. You should be grand - and once you get here you wont worry about the weather, just how far you are away from the bar

  3. make sure u pack a raincoat lol cause no matter what time of year u come here u can expect to see some rain.

as for the ferry unless the weather is really really bad u will be able to get the ferry, i crossed over on the night sailing two weeks ago the weather was rotten and the sea was rough but they still sailed.

enjoy urself over here if u do decide to come over

  4. it shuould unless threres  a rowdy brit crowd on only joking come on over for the craic yahoo might cancel this answer for using craic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. We've often gone home from Holyhead in March, only to find the ferry delayed, cancelled or "out of use for annual maintainance". While it's unlikely they will cancel it for maintainance around Paddy's day, it can be a wild and windy month. Even the big Irish Ferries Ullyses can't sail in storm-force gales.

If possible, I suggest you leave yourself a couple of days beforehand, rather than trying to get there on the day.

The city festival is on the 17th March as usual, but the religious ceremonies are being transferred to 15th March this year, since the 17th is Monday in Holy Week (Easter being so early).

Finally, some things to do in Dublin:

  6. Weather in March tends to be wet but that all...no major storms etc..boats should sail no bother..

have fun..make sure and go to stephen's green on paddy's day..

  7. it rains alot and then  there is a rainbow fo a half hour and then more rain.

okay so that is an exageration but still........\ and no to the other thingy

  8. It's unusual for the Irish Ferries to be cancelled and by mid March the weather will be a lot milder so it's probably a safe bet that they will sail. Enjoy your weekend in God's own country, wish I was going with you.

  9. The weather in Ireland is wet.  So is the sea between Hollyhead and the floating bog known as Ireland.

Consequently, the weather is no obstacle to travelling to Ireland because whatever the weather may be...it is the same or worse when you get there.

The music is very diddly by the way.

  10. Your guess is as good as mine.....if the weather is bad they won't be sailing.

  11. Too early to say. I've seen the ferries not sailing in the middle of summer when the weather turns bad.

  12. The ferry will sail , you will end up in temple bar , you will enjoy , you will buy silly leprechaun hat , you will drink Guinness and  you will meet a nice  Irish boy who will show you his blarney stones.

  13. visit the north before the left wing peaceniks get rid of the peacelines and  part of irelands culture is lost for good.

  14. shud do yea
