  1. my sister in italy..... : (

and i have no clue how the weather is

  2. Check out Weathercast.com

Most of Italy is covered with mountains that get snow in winter, so chances are it will be cold.  If you are closer to the seaside, expect it to be a humid, and bone-chilling.  Take more clothes, rather than less.  No point in having pneumonia on your honeymoon.  You need to remember that most places will not be central heated, and therefore once you get cold, it is very difficult to warm up again.

  3. This is my 3rd year living in Italy. I am in Aviano (AFB), Italy and it is about 4 hours south of Milan.

Starting in September it gets really chilly and by December it is extremely cold and often it rains endlessly. In our area it never snows on ground but it does up in the mountains.

If I were you I would wear a short sleeved dress with the gloves just because the gloves would make the look so beautiful and the short sleeved dress will still allow some of your upper body to be warm.

As for normal clothes you will definately want to pack some jeans and pants because it REALLY gets cold over here and you dont want your vacation ruined because your

*** is freezing. Bring boots that you can wear over your jeans that look cute because one it is really cold and two if it rains your feet will still be nice and warm. Bring thick socks because the tips of your toes will be numb

(especially if you plan on walking around alot). I would pack some thermal pants ( "long johns") and if you dont have a pair there are some cute ones available at Victoria's Secret. These are nice because you can wear them under your jeans to keep your legs extra warm and in the worse case (which I dont think will happen) you will get too hot and you can just go into a bathroom and take them off and fold them away in your purse. Normally I used to say scarves dont really make a difference after living in Louisiana, but really here THEY DO. bring a thick scarf you can wear. A cute knit hat might be a good idea because it keeps your hair in place when strong winds come in and they also allow you to keep the tops of your ears warm without having to wear weird looking ear muff headbands. I also would get a pair of gloves. When i say this I mean gloves as in leather or water proof with a pocket for each finger. When you and your husband are gettinf hot chocolate at a stand or hot wine you want to be able to use your hands and gloves also allow you to stay warm and wet proof, mittens do not do this. As far as tops go you have a couple of outfit options.

    1) a sweater and a regular "poofy" jacket with your scarf

    2) A short sleeved shirt or tank top with a hoodie over it and your "poofy" jacker and a scarf

In conclusion I would bring ALOT of warm stuff. I GURANTEE it will not ever be "chilly" or "breezy" it will be cold.

congrats on your wedding. Hope all goes well!

  4. It could be snowing and will be very cold... Congratulations!  I would wear a long sleeved dress.  No matter what you decide to wear, you will be the talk of the day! Have a great  new life.
