Weather in london?

i'm going next week to london and i would like to know if i need to take jackets, boots, or shorts, or what i need to take

oh gosh!  If only we know ourselves!  In the past week we've had gorgeous sunshine, torrential rain, battering winds and high temperatures.  We never know what we're waking up to.  Check the 5 day forecast on www.bbc.co.uk/weather but you will need a jacket (pref waterproof with a hood or umbrella) but you will probably need sandals and closed shoes too.  You might need shorts or you might need jeans.  Sorry to be no help but it really is all over the place at the moment.

English weather is changeable, you should always be prepared for any eventuality, include in your packing a pair of sturdy waterproof shoes, rain coat or waterproof jacket, and although you can pick up a cheap umbrella here if you have a collapsable one already that fits into a bag always good.

At the moment the South East is going through a damp, humid patch, temperatures are around seasonal norm, but cloudy and overcast with a high risk of rain (light drizzle to heavy rain).  Hopefully you will get a couple of days of sun when your here.

A good check to make is on BBC.co.uk which gives a good 3 - 5 day forecast which is pretty accurate and changes are made on an hourly basis.

umbrella, a light jacket, shorts, jeans, the weather is totally unpredictable one minute its baking hot and clear skies the next its pouring down and cloudy and the temperature drops so just bring whateva u want.

if I could answer your question reliably, I'd be a millionaire ... everyone in London would love to know the answer !!

at the moment the weather is swinging between lovely summery days with temperatures in the mid twenties, to rainy and windy spring days with temperatures between 12-20 degrees ... heaven only knows what next week will bring

so you'll need everything on your list except perhaps the shorts ... but don't forget the waterproof and umbrella

We're having a typical British Summer so far, completely unpredictable and quite a bit of rain, so bring your entire wardrobe. (Not the wooden thing, just the contents).

Hi checked the B.B.C. weather for you for the week, it is rain cloud and showers between 18- 21c but even the weather people get it wrong, today it is sunny with clouds but meant to be raining heavy tonight. Leave boots at home fetch the rest with a nice big brolly. Hope you have a lovely time in London.

its so unpredictable in London, one week its hot the next its raining!! bring a mix of everything but check the weather before you come over!!
